Charlies Pho Shack

Saturday morning breakfast for me is usually around lunch time.
I headed into the city to meet Vix.
Vix wanted hot and sour soup and she kew just the place to satisfy her tastebuds.
We wandered through the Gouger Street throngs and picked out a table at Charlies Pho Shack.

The menu (sorry for the dodgy photo) is small but has a lot of options as I was hungover I deliberated for an age and finaly settled on the Wonton Noodle soup($7.50 regular)

My Wonton soup was nice the wontons were wonderful, soft on the outside but the meat hadn't gone mushy still a little bitey and a really nice flavour. My noodles were thin yellow noodles and were very tasy and quite short only a little slurping required. The Boc Choy was crunchy in the stems and had that full of healthy green flavour. The broth was a little disapointing very mild, not the big flavour hit I was looking for.

Vix's Hot and sour Chicken soup ($7.50 regular) was good a nice hot chilli shean to the top and the chicken had picked up the flavours well. The broth was better ut still didn't leave us licking out our bowls
